Trying to get interesting shots of the model whilst she was talking was difficult as i didn't want too many similar shots. Being prepared for spontaneous movements and facial expressions was essential to gain the best shots to create a good composition. I wanted to try gain a collection of several different expressions to show emotion and reaction to the kind of conversation that was happening.
Being photographed myself was something I found strange. To try and act like I didn't know the camera was there when it was straight in front of me was difficult and I found myself trying to stop doing the usual fidgeting and expressions that I know I would usually do. However after a few shots I found it easier to ignore the camera and become distracted by the conversation. I feel I have learnt that being photographed has a big affect on the way that we present ourselves. We often become more self-conscious and more aware of our behaviour and the way we look, we want to present ourselves in a way that we feel is the best way possible.
